The Dovecot sits at the end of the yard at Poplars Farm, in Styrrup, the sculpture studios of Hilary Cartmel and Michael Johnson. This 280 year old farm building is enjoying a new lease of life as a gallery to exhibit artwork and a space for workshops and performance events.
We put on exhibitions here for our own interest and enjoyment collecting together work that we find inspiring and aspirational, giving artists and makers, who are producing the best work that they can make, an opportunity to show their work to give pleasure to The Dovecot’s visitors. Not all works are for sale but some are, and we offer these at prices that reflect the artists’ experience and ability.
You will find refreshments and a garden to sit in and enjoy.
